Diplo has officially confirmed that the first new Major Lazer album in five years is coming. The better news? It’s dropping in less than a month. The new album is titled Peace Is The Weapon, and it’s slated for an October 23 release date.
With a handful of Major Lazer collabs dropping this past year, we had an idea something was up, and we’re stoked to see that the versatile electronic trio will be dropping a new full-length project so soon.
The title of the project is a clear follow up to their last album, 2015’s Peace Is The Mission. The title also appears to be a commentary on the current volatile political climate.
Stay tuned for what is sure to be an epic fourth studio album from Major Lazer.
