It’s always a good day when we get some fresh music from Malaa. Having just come off his heavy recent Illegal Mixtape Vol. 2, today the house-heavyweight has delivered a sinister new single “Addiction”.
With just over a month till DJ Snake, Tchami, Malaa & Mercer’s “Pardon My French” Red Rocks Show, this latest offering from the enigmatic artist couldn’t have come at a better time. Starting off slow with some skittering perussion and dark, atmospheric soundscapes, Malaa has masterfully woven an eerie spoken word narrative detailing the dangers of cocaine addiction throughout a wonky, bass heavy 4/4 groove. Coming as his first single of 2019, we’re definitely hoping this latest will open the gates for more to come in the near future.
