Rising songwriter-producer Max Leone is blowing up in a big way! Having burst onto the airwaves in January with his debut single “First Grade”, today the young artist has returned with an equally impressive followup track “Cautious” via Darkroom Records.
This latest offering from the LA-based phenom perfectly places his unique talents on display. Considering Max started out his musical journey playing guitar, over the years he’s grown and developed his production prowess, slowly intertwining his infectious sound with a relatable and refreshingly authentic lyrical knack.
“Cautious is about isolating yourself from the world in an attempt to protect yourself from it, but ultimately discovering that the beauty and meaning in life are often derived through its discomfort.” – Max Leone
Starting off with some warbling guitar and crisp, non-traditional percussion, Max layers his soft, passionate vocals over deep, distorted bass to construct a dark, melancholic vibe from the get-go. Speaking on the opposition of wants vs needs and the exhaustion of trying to constantly be cautious, Max has continued to solidify himself as a master storyteller with this fresh release.
