Since the conception of MEMBA, Ishaan Chaudhary and Will Curry’s one goal was to fuse the musical sounds of the world into the modern EDM template. Their new EP, East Meets West is the latest release on their mission. The duo, who met on an archaeological dig in India, are currently there to perform at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender tomorrow in Pune, India. Chaudhary himself announced this EP merely two days ago from the back of a tuk tuk in Mumbai on his way to a recording session with a children’s choir.
The EP itself is three tracks, and features their release from last month “Mehndi.” “Step by Step” with 27Delly and Punjabi hitmaker Simar Gill brings MEMBA’s classic pulsating trap that fans know and love. While “Transcendence” is a darker house collaboration with Kahani that is ready to tear up dance floors. Indo Future Bass incoming.
