If there’s one thing the electronic music community is founded on, it’s collaboration. Time and time again, we’re graced with some likely and unlikely collabs that have delivered some of the best songs and moments in recent memory. This time, Mersiv and SuperAve have collided on their How I Step EP, out now via Deadbeats.
The joint-effort EP features an original track as well as two VIP’s from each producer, showcasing their versatility and unique production styles. The original, “How It Step,” is an all out heater that hits from the moment it starts. Mersiv’s signature melody infused bass wubs push the pace along while SuperAve’s crunchy production adds the perfect amount of swag. Mersiv’s VIP slows things down and ramps up those bass swells. SuperAve’s VIP keeps the tempo intact but instead opts for a more chopped, sample-filled interpretation.
Both artists are at the top of the bass music game right now and hopefully we can hear more collabs like this in the near future. Stream the EP below and enjoy!
