MGMT‘s 2023 is shaping up to be a big one already. This week, the indie electronic band announced a new album, one that would be their first full-length studio project since 2018’s Little Dark Age. In a post on Twitter, the band stated the “fancy new album” will come out this year. The title has not yet been revealed.
Earlier this week, MGMT also announced a special performance at Just Like Heaven Festival, where they will play, in its entirety, Oracular Spectacular. It will be their first time on stage in four years.
Last year, MGMT released 11•11•11, their first-ever live album.
