By now, if you’ve been following, you should know that Mick Jenkins and Kaytranada are a force to be reckoned with. The two influential artists have been collaborating for years, and it’s clear that they have a certain synergy that they keep returning to.
They just put out a new single called “Understood,” and it’s the second single in the past couple months released by Mick Jenkins that features Kaytranada on production. Their chemistry is off the charts, and we wouldn’t be surprised if there were another collaboration between the two appearing on Mick Jenkins upcoming album, Pieces of a Man.
Mick also took to Twitter to announce that he and Kaytranada would put out a full collaborative project “someday.” We’re very much enjoying these recent tracks from the two, and we will patiently wait for that day to come, whenever it may be.
