Paying homage to the pioneers of the founding fathers of this recent dream-pop, synth-wave explosion, Mindchatter has just released his cover of LCD Soundsystem‘s hit song “I Can Change.” A daring venture for most, but we have full faith in this exciting young artist, and he absolutely nailed it.
While mostly staying true to the original, Mindchatter has added some nice touches. Besides tweaking the drums, he’s added a groovy bassline and a fun breakdown to showcase the instrumental. The result is a wonderfully mellow spin on a classic record.
