Mindchatter Delivers Highly Anticipated Debut Album ‘Imaginary Audience’

||, |,

Ever since launching this project in 2019, NYC based producer Bryce Connolly (aka Mindchatter) has impressed fans and contemporaries alike with his unique approach to production and a sound that effortlessly defies genre classification. After touring with Polo & Pan, releasing a handful of great singles along with some some remixes for the likes of Amtrac and Channel Tres, he’s allowed all that momentum to culminate with the release of his debut album Imaginary Audience.

Born out of his search for self-acceptance and a higher purpose; the album showcases his sophisticated production style, and also allows him to flex his vocal chords quite a bit – especially on “Choose A Side”. Featuring soaring vocals and an understated piano melody, its easily the most topical track on the album, addressing the divisiveness we’re currently facing as a county and offering his perspective. The other standout track (in our humble opinion) is “Language” a smooth synthwave jam that invokes the sound of his former tourmates, and builds on it exponentially.

Which isn’t to say that’s the only other standout from the album, as it’s full of tracks that will be in regular rotation for the foreseeable future. And we’ve got no doubt that it’ll cement him among the elite artists on his label’s roster. He was there already, but now there’s absolutely no doubt. Below is a link to the album, enjoy!
