MIZE Rejoins WAKAAN With Trailblazing New EP ‘Late Apex’

Alabama-based producer, MIZE, has been making waves in the bass music world with a combination of genre-defying all original SoundCloud mixes and an exciting live tour. He’s been one of SSKWAN and WAKAAN’s go to weapons and is rejoining with the latter for the release of his latest EP, Late Apex.

Stretching throughout six ingenious tracks including collaborations with other leading artists such as Conrank and sfam, the EP lays claim to its forward title, undoubtedly proving itself as an early contender for his best release thus far. MIZE maintains the ability to produce evolving freeform bass while combining familiar elements of downtempo, hip hop, dubstep. His productions are easily recognizable yet always push the envelope of what we thought imaginable.

Here’s what MIZE had to say about the EP:

“A ‘Late Apex’ is a term for an often faster line in a corner that provides you with better exit speeds at the risk of later braking and turn-in. A Late Apex requires a lot more precision, control, and finesse but can mean the difference between a trophy and a medal. I’m so inspired by those who compete and create at the absolute cutting edge as I notice often those with that internal drive often occupy the winner’s circle. Small precise changes can add up to big results.”
