The time has come for Montell2099 to drop his second record on Sable Valley…and it’s a doozy. Having originally joined onto the RL Grime-run label with “Stars“, today the New Zealander has taken things in a darker direction with his fresh new track “BURNA“.
We couldn’t have thought of a better title for this wild new offering. Starting off with some eerie atmospheric soundscapes and booming percussion, Montell2099 wastes no time whipping this one into a wild, bass-heavy drop packed with distorted, pulsing synths, pitched vocal chops and crunchy, industrial sound design.
