Establishing his undeniable production talents and making a name for himself over the past couple years as a regular on deadmau5’s label, mau5trap, Morgin Madison has continued to one-up himself with every new release we hear. Today, Madison joins forces with blossoming Australian artist, Ryan Lucian, on their impressive debut collaboration, “From The Start.”
Building off entrancing synth chords and an undeniable hook, Morgin and Ryan establish a solid foundation for this progressive banger right out of the gate. Evolving in energy and emotion as it moves forward, perfectly compressed plucks and crescendoing percussion kept us coming back for more. The fusion of Madison and Lucian’s styles is evident, with Ryan adding more melodic accents to Morgin’s classically hard-hitting dance gusto.
Morgin shared his thoughts on the track, commenting:
“From The Start” is a really special track for me, because I actually met Ryan Lucian through my streams I used to do where I would review people’s demo’s live. Ryan’s manager later sent in an early idea of “From The Start”, and I instantly heard the potential of what it could become and where I could expand on it. Ryan had some really great core melodies, and I completely revamped the drums, mix, and arrangement, as well as some synths and effects around the track. Ryan is an example of a true progressive talent that is just starting his journey, and I’m happy to be a part of it.
