When I saw that Mr. Carmack dropped a song called "This Is America" I kind've just assumed it was going to be a remix of Childish Gambino's recent song that went number one. However, if this is a remix… we don't see it. This new track from Carmack is bonkers in the best way possible.
Carmack always keeps us on our toes, but still somehow finds a way to catch us off guard. He's a wizard with production and puts his skill set on full display here. The thundering 808s pair with otherworldly synths and non-traditional percussion and warbling basstones. This is what I'm guessing an alien invasion sounds like. Enjoy!
