What do you get when you mix the heat from Montreal and the swagger from Chicago? A track as saucy as “Teriyaki” by rappers Nate Hu$$er and Mick Jenkins. These two teamed up with label +1Records/EMPIRE to drop this real hip-hop heater today, and it’s the first single off Husser’s EP out in June, Adult Supervision.
On working with Mick Jenkins, Hu$$er said:
Been trying to find the right track to collab with Mick for a while. Once I heard this beat from Dom, I knew Mick would body it.
The song has an old-school rap feel to it, with a smooth jazzy flute production and the duo trading off on the mic. Hu$$er throws down serious bars and Jenkins sings the hook and closes it out with a witty verse. If this single is any indication of what’s to come, the EP is finna be dripping in sauce.
Grab a bib and listen to “Teriyaki” below. Enjoy!
