NERO Return After Five Year Hiatus With Futuristic Single “Truth,” Announce Final Album

It’s been nearly a decade since NERO headlined Coachella’s Outdoor Stage where they premiered their second studio album Between II Worlds. Since then, the trio has turned their focus towards their own individual side projects and personal lives. However, to the delight of longtime fans around the world, they’re announcing their next album Into The Unknown and releasing their brand-new single “Truth.”

NERO’s affinity for cinematic soundscapes and epic electronic productions are just a few of the reasons why the band reached such global acclaim. According to NERO, “Truth” was the first track created for Into The Unknown and acts as a gateway into the concluding chapter of the NERO trilogy.

“Truth” exemplifies both beauty and chaos as NERO weave together an otherworldly cinematic landscape with grinding tech house elements. Leaning into the sci-fi theme, the track is underpinned by a sample of Amanda Palmer reading Neil Gaiman’s The Mushroom Hunters, setting the tone for the forthcoming post-apocalyptic project.

Into The Unknown is due out sometime in 2024 and will officially mark the final chapter of the NERO trilogy. Stream “Truth” below and enjoy!
