“Wolves,” the unofficial lead single that jump started the anticipation around Kanye West’s seventh album over a year ago, has gone through quite a transformation since it was debuted at the initial Yeezy Season 1 release in NYC.

‘Ye turned his attention to avant-garde production specialists Cashmere Cat and Sinjin Hawke to create an eerily soothing framework for Vic Mensa and and Sia to lay a string of emotionally charged vocals over.

The wait for a CDQ version kept many on their toes leading up The Life Of Pablo’s recent release, but a different version featuring Caroline Shaw and Frank Ocean made the cut and sparked a fair bit of backlash & debate on what happened to the original version.

Shortly after TLOP was premiered on Tidal, Kanye sent out a tweet revealing plans of fixing “Wolves.” Speculation on what that exactly meant has kept the internet buzzing leading up to today's discovery of an alternative variation with studio quality vocals from Kanye, Vic, Sia, and Frank Ocean.

We are unsure if this is some bit of sneakery from Kanye ahead of the forthcoming G.O.O.D Friday releases or just a well-put together replica of what the studio version would sound like, but you can be the judge after streaming the tune below.
