NGHTMRE and Big Gigantic have been mainstays at the top of dance music for a long time now, and for good reason. So, when they linked up to form GIGANTIC NGHTMRE, everyone knew greatness was set to unfold. Their GIGANTIC NGHTMRE EP was a smashing success, and now they’ve put out the GIGANTIC NGHTMRE (Remixes).
Darby, who has been tapped to remix such legends as ODESZA and San Holo already, leads off the project with the tall task of reimagining the electric “Back For More”. The iconic intro bellows before Darby takes full control and adds some high octane dancefloor fuel. SoDown makes an appearance on the project as well, lending his trademark funk/bass hybrid sound to remix “Never Loved You Like That” while keeping the essence of the track, especially with its vocals. And sibling partnership LOUIEJAYXX tap into the old school NGHTMRE sound with their bass-heavy remix of “Keep The Change”.
