We’re already well aware that when NotLö comes out with new music, it’s going to be something big. This time she’s not doing it alone and has recruited North Carolina bass phenom, BroMosapien, for their latest joint-EP ‘Consume,’ out now via Cyclops Recordings.
NotLö’s quintessential deep bass is balanced out by BroMosapien’s crunchy production prowess. While the EP may only contain 3 tracks, both producers are able to bob and weave through a variety of genres and styles with ease. “Summons” starts out with some spooky half-time before dropping into a gut-wrenching drum n bass outro. Both “Consume” and “Can’t Get Down” find both producers flexing some of their heaviest ideas to date rounding out a short but most certainly sweet little EP.
