ODESZA fans have been treated quite well this month with both the Spinback Remix EP, as well as the official digital release of their TLG Cinematic Experience earlier this week. But now it’s finally here. Today, ODESZA has officially handed over The Last Goodbye Tour Live album. 27 tracks deep and 90 minutes long, the live album consists of live recordings taken from various shows during their arena and festival tour over the last year and features tracks from across their entire catalog with live vocal performances from staples like Naomi Wild, Leon Bridges, Charlie Houston and more.

If you saw ODESZA on this past tour, listening back to this album will send chills down your spine. Each track seamlessly mixes into the next from one VIP to the another and it doesn’t slow down. There are a couple mashups featured like the “Say My Name x Late Night” and “Equal x Boy” tracks that are perfect examples of what makes ODESZA’s live show incredible.

The ability to mix two songs from two different eras into one three-to-five minute section of their live show touching multiple bases and making everyone happy. One standout is the Suden Archives “Selfish Soul” (ODESZA VIP Remix) where the last drop goes into this heavy bass hit with bells that are sampled from Run DMC’s “Peter Piper” to make this insane hip-hop beat to end the track.

From the countless VIPs that you couldn’t stop thinking about after seeing ODESZA to the organic crowd noise to the live drumline and brass sections, this live album does the trick if you are a fan. They touch on music from every era and it is the essence of what ODESZA stands for and represents as artists.
