Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Of The Trees has always stood out from the scene with his ability to experiment freely with his music, while remaining seamlessly true to his sound. The bass virtuoso’s latest release lands on his newly established imprint, Memory Palace, and includes a bright refresh of fan favorite track, “Everglade March,” as well as brand new single, “Muscaria.”
“Muscaria” delicately balances bass and experimental influence, embracing rave energy to the fullest. Of The Trees plays with a variety of grooves, changing the swing of the drums and synth syncopation throughout to add to the dynamic curve of the track. Conversely, “Everglade March (VIP)” showcases Of The Trees’ penchant for creative melodic incorporation. A hip-hop track at its core, the producer blends trap beats and buzzy bass tones, building a banger to fuel festival crowds.
Of The Trees commented on Sangho Bang’s artwork for the double-single, sharing:
i wanna take a sec to talk about the incredible artwork by the illustrious Sangho Bang . it felt right to revisit their work for this release because in many ways it is a spiritual successor to Harvest. A return to some more visceral sounds. Hope y’all enjoy!!
