Oliver Heldens Reveals Bass House Side Project HI-LO With Single & Announces His Own Record Label

||, |,

Dutch future house pioneer, Oliver Heldens, made his initial break with the TSIS premiered “Overdrive (Gecko)” becoming one of the biggest tracks of 2014, and has been touring festivals ever since. It seems that 2015 is proving to be an even bigger year for the young producer. Kicking the year off with his monster collab with Zeds Dead, “You Know," Heldens now announces that he will be launching his own record label called Heldeep Records

Heldeep Records will serve as a platform for young artists to begin their careers with the guidance of the poster child young producer Heldens himself. For the first release, Heldens is simultaneously revealing his mystery alias, HI-LO, a step into the more heavy bass side of the dance world. He has now put out the project's second track as his label's first release with, "Renegade Mastah." HI-LO's gritty sound truly shines through on "Renegade Mastah" with its scratching bassline and rattling industrial percussion, giving Wildchild’s vintage classic vocals a bass house facelift.

Listen to the full stream of “Renegade Mastah” below and look out for its official release on July 20th via Heldeep Records and much more from the budding producer and label. Enjoy.
