New Zealand’s own electronic powerhouse, Opiou, has recently graced us with a few very special announcements. Following the release of his newest single “Gravitate” with Jordan Dennis, the blossoming producer announced the upcoming release of his fifth album to date, A Shape Of Sound.
Accompanying the album’s release on August 25, Opiuo is set to embark on aptly titled A Shape Of Sound Tour, beginning the very next day (August 26). Kicking off in his homeland, Opiuo has four dates planned in New Zealand before he heads off to Australia, and then the US. The electronic virtuoso has much in store for his audience, in regards to both his upcoming LP and extensive tour dates.

This album and tour are years in the making and easily my most evolved yet! I’ll be controlling all the visual elements and performing the music live on the fly to make it the most spontaneous, involved, ever-expanding show I possibly can!
