It’s been a little less than a year since Opiuo released his fifth album, A Shape Of Sound. As the New Zealand-born producer looks ahead to his upcoming Red Rocks headlining show, he’s just dropped a brand new single titled “Bash Plate.”
The track is a collaboration with fellow Kiwi producer, Ashez, and showcases both producer’s distinct styles. “Bash Plate” begins innocently before dropping into an all-out warped, bass affair. The combination of arena-filling drums, crunchy synths, hard-hitting bass, and entrancing melodies is definitely going to sound huge at both of their live shows.
