Opiuo and Ashez Join Forces From Down Under To The ‘Underground’

||, |

The latest animal of a collaboration EP comes straight from down under as Australia’s Opiuo and New Zealand’s Ashez have joined forces to put together Underground.

This bass heavy but distinctively groovy 4-track project is absolutely electric. The lead track and title track has a start straight out of Stranger Things before delving into some of the wonkiest bass put out this year. But as stated earlier, this EP has got some groove to it, as evidenced in the very next track “Bobby Dazzler”. “Ricochet” brings us some super chill bass to vibe out to, and it caps off with the six-minute emotive powerhouse “My Love”.

Ashez says,

“Oscar (Opiuo) and I became friends after he found my music and reached out. I was stoked as I had been a fan for years, and now I’m even more stoked to announce the release of our EP.”

And Opiuo adds,

“I’m so proud of this music. It’s more moody, and a little darker, but that’s what a good collaboration should be, a bit of both of you mashed into something fresh and new. I’m so happy to finally share this music with everyone! There’s nothing more beautiful & rewarding than writing music with friends!”
