PREMIERE | Rising NYC Producer Opvs Impresses With Party-Ready Flip Of “Body Language” By Kali Uchis

||, |, ,

Need some new Kaytranada vibes in your life? Well, NYC-based producer Opvs has you covered for now. The rising artist took the intro track “Body Language” off Kali Uchis’s incredible debut album and flipped it into a funky dancefloor groove that’s ready for summer.

Opvs has been featured on the site once before with the premiere of his stunning remix of Post Malone’s “Too Young” with G.KNOW, but this latest release shows an impressive step forward in his production ability. Subtle shakers and crisp snares slowly lead the listener to a drop marked by bouncing bass and shuffling percussion. As Kali’s chopped vocals echo in your headphones Opvs keeps the instrumental intriguing with a mix of unique synths that sound like anything from a raindrop to a dial tone.

If this track hit the spot you can catch Opvs playing alongside josh pan at the Mercury Lounge this Saturday night in Manhattan. Grab tickets here and stream the song below. Enjoy!
