The 20th birthday of OutKast‘s celebrated and Grammy award winning Stankonia album is coming up, and they’re celebrating in a special way. Their record label has announced a month long campaign to commemorate the album with a deluxe reissue, bundled singles, and an exclusive vinyl release.
Most importantly, the new reissue, which will land on October 30, will feature six new bonus tracks. Among them is the highly coveted “B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad)” remix by Rage Against The Machine’s lead singer, Zach De La Rocha. This remix never received a proper commercial release back in the day, but we’re getting it at the end of the month! The other bonus tracks are remixes of more Stankonia tracks—a couple feature the legendary Snoop Dogg.
