Paraleven Unveils Exploratory Debut Album, ‘Apollo,’ via RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records

Paraleven is the ascending musical brainchild of Atlanta-based producer, Josh Taylor. His sound is best characterized as an artful intersection of musical elements native to melodic, deep and progressive house. After a long stint of releases on This Never Happened he’s teamed up with RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records for the release of his debut album, Apollo.

The 10-track project is a story of deep contemplation, taking its listeners into futuristic soundscapes laced with verses on love, pain, healing, and self discovery. Apollo begins its journey with the sweeping “Tidal Wave,” which encourages all to “take a ride” and embrace the bumpy ride that life offers. This message of trusting in the process persists throughout the album, like fellow Bien Et Toi-assisted track “Falling In.” Meanwhile, MARO speaks on pushing through barriers in uplifting LP closer “Day Fire,” while the Baerd collab, “Wait For A Dream,” reminds audiences that human connection can also be a source of strength.

Apollo marks a major milestone for the rising producer and breaks the ground for any creative exploration that is yet to come. Stream the album below and enjoy!
