After embarking on an immersive retreat in Liguria, Italy, German producer and artist, Para for Cuva, tapped into a brand new creative flow, resulting in the creation of his forthcoming album. Today, he shares his first single from his Italian escapades, entitled “Pinie.”
A four-on-the-floor, saturated drum kit sets the mood for “Pinie,” as a rhythmic bass line glides overtop. Moody and emotive, collaborator orbit‘s ethereal stylings fuse seamlessly with Para for Cuva’s worldly productions. The duo incorporate bright guitars and spacious vocal ad-libs to fill out the track.
orbit commented on the writing process, sharing:
Nicolas and I crafted the song in a quaint garden shed on the coast of Italy. I remember swaying to the melodies all night, sharing laughter, cigarettes, and the company of my brother Patrick and our friend.
