Paul McCartney Teasing Project Ft. Anderson .Paak, Idris Elba, Beck, Khruangbin, & More

Paul McCartney has something massive up his sleeve. The former Beatle sent out a cryptic video on Twitter today that has us scrambling for what it could mean.

The video shows 12 different colored dice. They move around the screen quickly, but each die has a name of an artist on it. After spending a bit of time with the video, we’re able to make out the names of each artist listed. They are: Beck, Phoebe Bridgers, Anderson .Paak, Khruangbin, Dominic Fike, EOB (Ed O’Brien of Radiohead), Blood Orange, Idris Elba, Josh Homme (of Queens of the Stone Age), Damon Albarn (of Gorillaz), St. Vincent, and lastly, 3D.

That last bit is important, as Paul McCartney’s recently released album, McCartney III, had exactly 11 tracks on it. There’s 11 artists listed, and we’re speculating that “3D” is there to potentially tease a three-dimensional element to this project. This very well is looking like it is shaping up to be one hell of a remix/cover album for Paul, potentially one of the most stacked we’ve ever seen.

There’s no other information about what exactly is coming our way here, but we’re bracing for a huge delivery of new music from some of the best and brightest in the biz.

You can check out Paul’s teaser video below, which has also been tweeted out by all the of the artists named above.
