Louis The Child and Pell Share “Turn Me Down” Under New Project “Pellican Child”

Louis The Child and Pell just announced a collaborative project called Pelican Child and have shared their debut single, "Turn Me Down"! Their combined styles already sounds like a perfect fit as they launch their exciting new project.

Louis The Child’s productions carry an uplifting tone while Pell’s elastic singing and rapping always seem to be bouncing with joy, making for an natural blend. While we haven’t really heard Louis The Child explore the hip-hop realm previously, Pell has worked with electronic producers as we heard on Big Gigantic’s standout single, "Miss Primetime". The Pellican Child project came to be after Pell and Louis The Child spent a couple days in the studio together this summer.

"Turn Me Down" incorporates gentle hip-hop percussion with a colorful, bouncy melody that sets the stage for Pell to lay down some playful verses and an incredibly catchy chorus. Pell and Louis The Child have been playing shows together on LTC's headlining tour and will be making their west coast Pellican Child debut at their upcoming LA show at the Fonda this Friday. Stay tuned for a whole EP in 2017 and enjoy!
