Phlegmatic Dogs have been one of the most promising new names in bass house over the past couple of years. After gaining notoriety from their previous four Night Bass releases, the Russian duo is set to embark on their most ambitious endeavor to date.
Phlegmatic Dogs is linking up with fellow prominent Russian duo Volac on their new Russian Style Compilation (which also comes via AC Slater’s Night Bass imprint), as well as going on a 23-date North American tour to support the project.
We’re also stoked to give you the first taste of the Russian Style Compilation with an exclusive premiere of the Phlegmatic Dogs tune “Bastard.” This vicious bass house romper is definitely our favorite cut off the project. The four-track EP features an original tune by each duo, as well as remixes from both, taking on each other’s older tracks.
