Phoebe Bridgers Delivers Beautiful Live Performance On SNL, Then Smashes Her Guitar

|||

Phoebe Bridgers rocked out on SNL over the weekend, performing two songs from her smash album “Punisher” alongside a skeleton suit-clad, eight-piece band. They played the always lovely “Kyoto” before rock ballad “I Know The End,” during which Phoebe launched into a metallic frenzy and smashed her danelectro guitar.

Who could fault her for bringing a little excitement and spontaneity in the absence of the live music shenanigans we all dearly miss? Well, as is expected nowadays, a handful of internet warriors got upset over Phoebe unleashing her inner rockstar, but she is hardly fazed after breaking an inexpensive guitar with the manufacturer’s blessing. Many were quick to defend her and shut down the incoming hate directed at her after the show.

I told danelectro I was going to do it and they wished me luck and told me they’re hard to break
