Poolside Shares Disco Groover “We Could Be Falling In Love”

Today, Poolside enters new territory, releasing his first-ever self-described dance track. The producer is currently gearing up for the release of his fourth studio album, Blame It All On Love, but for now, you can get a taste of what to expect with his new single “We Could Be Falling In Love.”

A broken down, percussive arrangement begins “We Could Be Falling In Love,” creating a sense of anticipation for what’s to come. To our surprise and absolute delight, Poolside breaks into a disco groove full of nostalgic keys and guitar riffs, transporting us to the dance floor. The final touch, an airy melodic hook, brings the tune full circle.

Poolside commented on the writing process, sharing:

I wrote this song with Alton Allen and it turned out to be very catchy and addictive. I asked Steve Schiltz to play guitar on it and then recorded my vocals with my friend Lewis Pesacov. This is the first track in the history of Poolside where I’m singing proper lead vocals.

You can stream “We Could Be Falling In Love” at the link below, out everywhere via Ninja Tune/Counter Records. Enjoy!
