Well known within house music circles by putting out bangers on labels like Spinnin’ and Toolroom, his latest venture is exploring his alter ego: 2phargon. Out soon via DIRTYBIRD, his latest release, “Feel A Little Strange,” offers a darker sound than we’ve previously heard from him.
The thumping 4×4 line is the first thing that greets our ears in “Feel A Little Strange.” Ravers will appreciate the positivity of the vocal sample: “Don’t let them tell you you have to change, just because you feel a little strange.” The main drop of the song is especially glorious. Blaring synths interspersed with different drum textures create an infectiously heady vibe.
