We’re thrilled to premiere the newest from prolific west coast bass producer/music director/event producer An-Ten-Nae. This funky one comes via Westwood Recordings and is called “Something Special.” And it certainly is.
An-Ten-Nae does a brilliant job here combining organic instrumental elements into that deep, full-sounding bass that we’ve come to love him for. A sultry vocal cut reminds us “You are something special” throughout, adding a charming layer to the sweet dynamic of the tune. The bass becomes more distorted as the track progresses, giving it that extra umph that you can’t help but move to.
Speaking on “Something Special” An-Ten-Nae himself had this to say:
Something special is about that special ability we each possess that makes us unique. For me it’s the way I see sound, in colors and energy.
