PREMIERE | Rusko Drops Trippy Video For “Squeeze (Burnin)” Ahead Of EP This Week

Rusko has kicked off this year in style with a few releases under his belt already. We’ve been loving everything he’s unleashed so far and he’s gearing up for a full EP MEGARAD coming this Friday via Deadbeats. Ahead of the full release he dropped his infectious new reggae-influenced single “Squeeze (Burnin)” and now brings the song to life with a trippy music video we’re pleased to be premiering.

The song highlights his wobbling basstones paired alongside retro-dub vocals, and the video matches the laid-back vibe to a tee. It starts with Rusko entering a sort of dream state with glitchy visuals showcasing some tropical island shots while Rusko himself appears alongside Griffin Arnlund in the Hunter Moreno directed video. Most of the video is in first person view of Rusko adventuring around with a girl before waking up as an old man at the end alongside the girl from his dreams. Rusko sold out all his January shows and brings some real momentum heading into the year as we await his full EP in a couple days – be sure to pre-save the project here. Enjoy!
