[PREMIERE] SAINT WKND – Golden Feat. Hoodlem : Indie / Future Bass

||, , |, ,

It's been a minute since we've shared something from SAINT WKND, formerly known as WKND, but we're stoked to premiere his highly-anticipated debut single, "Golden" feat. Hoodlem. We were first impressed by the German producer's talent back in 2014 when he teamed up with Chet Faker on "Lover" which fused indie and tropical house.

His latest is a smooth indie / future bass tune that does a great job of providing imagery for the listener with its crackling intro and clapping percussion. His choice of elements definitely caters to a more gentle, delicate sound with its shimmering melody, light bells and warm orchestral strings.

Hoodlem's singer really ties the whole piece together, capturing the song's mood perfectly with her silky vocals. "I knew about the indie group Hoodlem," SAINT WKND says, "and luckily when I was on tour in Australia in 2016 I met them in Melbourne and we recorded the vocals in their home studio." "Golden" will also appear on his debut EP, Golden Youth, arriving later this year. Enjoy!
