We’ve been waiting on this one for months now. It’s always a treat when two bass powerhouses team up on something heavy, but this latest collab goes way above our expectations, as SLUMBERJACK & TroyBoi have finally shared their new single “Solid”.
With TroyBoi coming off his recent V!BES Vol. 2 EP and Australian-duo well into the rollout of their anticipated SARAWAK EP, this latest offering definitely has us buzzing. Starting out with some slow, warbling synths and lively, skittering percussion, “Solid” effortlessly dips in and out of slow, vibrant verses and explosive, bass-packed drops, perfectly combining SLUMBERJACK’s heavy, abrasive trap elements and TroyBoi’s unique heavy chopped-up bounce sound. We definitely couldn’t have predicted the amount of heat these three dialed in with their first ever collab.
