TRAILS is back with a catchy new tune I’m definitely going to have stuck in my head all weekend. The rising artist just recently popped up on TSIS for his new song “Learn To Love” ft. JABS, and he’s quickly returned with more. Less than a month after his last release, the multi-instrumentalist and producer has returned with “The Night’s Our Town” featuring some vibrant vocals.
“Two years ago I told myself I want to make music that was much simpler & catchy, and maybe more pop than what I was used to creating. After some tough tinkering time, this song was the result.”
“I started this song when I was shifting to a more organic or handmade sound… and it’s the first song of mine that has not a single virtual instrument or computer note in it, which gives it more of a band sound than the sound you know of TRAILS. I’ve mentioned before that I made inconsistency my artistic line, and I hope that with this song out it is slowly starting to make sense.” – Trails
This takes a more indie pop approach than his previous releases and works so well and we’re pleased to be premiering this one today. TRAILS how shown off his crisp production in the past, and here he displays his ability to write incredibly catchy melodies with the slick instrumentation to tie it all together. I’m loving this direction from TRAILS and can’t wait to hear what’s coming next. He crafted each element of the song from scratch and even put up a video showing him play each element separately below. Enjoy!
