Woofax is an electronic music veteran, having previously engineered for Terravita and Hot Pink Delorean. Willdabeast are slightly newer to the scene but have been making waves with their brass and live instrument-infused brand of bass music. Both artists have teamed up for their upcoming collaborative EP, Watching the World Go By, and today we’re giving you an exclusive first listen with a premiere of “Gettin Busy.”
Woofax and Willdabeast both boast incredibly unique, genre-defying sounds and that’s on full display on “Gettin Busy.” The track uses a hip-hop inspired drum groove to kick things off before dropping into a heavy glitch-hop anthem. Live flutes, horns, and male vocals provide an element of live instrumentation while bass wubs and growls keep things heavy.
Watching The World Go By comes out May 12 via Gravitas Recordings and is infused with even more funk and bass. For now, you can check out the premiere below. Enjoy!
