After plenty of rumor, speculation, and side-talk, we can finally confirm the return of Pretty Lights. Just this morning, Pretty Lights dropped his return video with plenty of things to dissect. The fully bearded and optimistic picture of Derek Vincent Smith is something a lot of fans have been waiting for for a long time. He uses a beautifully pitched autotune effect to sing about his rebirth before dropping into an unidentified track.
The video shows a number of different places that indicate where his Soundship Spacesystem Tour will be playing. Those places are Denver, Lake Dillon, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, The Caverns, San Francisco, and New Orleans. The video also alludes to Pretty Lights in Dub, The Fantastic Pretty Lights, and Live from the Swirl Bridge.
