An artist to watch, LA-based house producer, Qlank, has been killing the game with his most recent releases. Developing a sound inspired by various facets of bass and house, his music has landed him releases on labels from Spinnin Records to Night Bass. Just this week, he teamed up with IN / ROTATION for the debut of his latest track “Yup.”
“Yup” encompasses everything we love about house music, between its tasty beats and infectious vibes. Starting the first drop earlier than expected and taking the listener by surprise, Qlank demonstrates his creative instincts both as a producer and writer. Following up with an anticipatory synth trill and infectious vocal chop, “Yup” leaps into an exquisite groove filled with melodic hooks, and lively bass licks that kept up on the edge of our seats.
Prior to the track’s release, Qlank shared “This one has been getting lots of love in the sets” – an unsurprising response to say the least. “Yup” is a refreshing new house track that practically begs the audience to get out on the dance floor.
