Quinn XCII Effortlessly Blends Genres On Personal New Song “Sad Still”

||

TSIS favorite Quinn XCII has been on a roll lately and shows no signs of slowing down. This time around he’s put his genre-blending tendencies on full display waking the line between electronic, pop, hip-hop and indie. Quinn doesn’t shy away from speaking about difficulties with anxiety on his new song “Sad Still” that pairs his incredible songwriting abilities with a strong message. This follows up recent songs like “Werewolf” alongside Yoshi Flower as well as “Panama.” Enjoy!

“This song is really meaningful to me because I think topically it highlights a lot of important things – from mental health, anxiety, social media, and a lot of my frustrations with society today.  For so long people have been avoiding the subject of mental health and I think recently musicians have done a great job using their platforms to speak on the topic.  We all struggle with it in some form or another, and I think it’s important that we stop hiding behind the pressures of the stigmas and society’s expectations and ‘standards.’ – Quinn XCII
