German Producer Quintus Delacroix Drops Spooky Experimental Bass Tune “Breaking The Gloom”

|||,

We love to get in the spooky spirit during the month of October, and the new track from Düsseldorf-based producer Quintus Delacroix is the perfect soundtrack for that. His new song “Breaking The Gloom” takes us on a journey that slowly unfolds over the course of its five-minute duration.

Delacroix sucks us into a futuristic albeit sinister world with dark washes of synth before introducing us to the protagonist of the track: a machine-like drum beat. It constantly changes form, charging with techno-like intensity in some verses, full of ominous breaks and glitches in others. Given the track title, Delacroix also aptly adds moments of levity by including lighter synth melodies amidst the otherwise “gloomy” ambiance. We love to hear this type of experimental music and wouldn’t be surprised to hear it as the soundtrack to a sci-fi movie.

“Breaking The Gloom” is out on all streaming platforms now. You can check it out below, enjoy!
