During their downtime, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is making some major adjustments to their stage.
There’s a video being shared around social media this morning which contains footage of a massive crane taking the roof off of the stage. The timelapse video was taken from high up on the amphitheatre, and includes a message of farewell to the huge chunk of metal.
With the roof of the stage now gone, it leaves a huge open space for Red Rocks to build something great in its place. There of course must be some type of roof over the stage so artists can continue to play if weather becomes an issue (who remembers Blizzmatik?). We can’t wait to see what they end up doing.
You can watch a video of the removal below.
