Red Rocks Will Be Operating At Full Capacity by July

Enjoy those reduced capacity concerts while you still can. As of now, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is set to return to full capacity by July 2021— that’s in just a couple months.

This information was leaked by The Avett Brothers on Facebook, who were updating their fans on the status of their show, which is currently slated for July 9. They also mention in their statement that this current date is subject to change. If that is the case, the show will be canceled.

According to this model from the New York Times, the United States will be at around 60% fully vaccinated by July. Colorado, on its own, is on pace with the rest of the country, according to Our World In Data.

Is 60% fully vaccinated enough for us to return to normalcy? It’s hard to say. With Colorado mostly erring on the side of caution during the pandemic so far, we wouldn’t be surprised if that July goal is pushed a bit further.
