Rising Rapper Armani White Announces Forthcoming Album + Shares “Touché”

||, |,

Armani White is a promising artist with unique talent. Back in 2016 he unfortunately lost his father Lee Tolbert, aka Touché, to cancer. This loss caused the Philly rapper to take a hiatus from music for the next couple years. Since his return he’s only continued to impress us with his wild, endless flows and melodic tendencies alike.

Now the rising artist is ready to take the next step and has announced his forthcoming album Stay In Touch, dedicated to his late father.

The timeline of my father’s story begins in a 1994 Jeep Cherokee, bought with settlement money from a case against the city of Philadelphia. Inside the jeep was Lee Tolbert aka Touché, a member of the Philly Gang “Junior Black Mafia” or JBM for short. The project follows Lee through the many narratives that built him up, yet scraped away and made him human. – Armani White

Along with this exciting news, Armani has shared a new track from the album titled “Touché.” The track includes some vulnerable lyrics that dive into the narrative of his father’s street side. The full project is due November 8 so stay tuned for more and enjoy!
