It has been a long, spooky ride. Over the past thirteen years, bass virtuoso, RL Grime, has treated his fans to a yearly Halloween mix. A definite highlight of our year, these mixes quickly became fan-favorites, featuring IDs from RL’s Sable Valley roster, collabs with his friends, and more. Today, we sadly witness the end of an era, with RL’s thirteenth and final Halloween mix, Halloween XIII: The End.
Halloween XIII: The End does not disappoint. The hour-long mix takes the listener on a horror-filled journey, demonstrating RL’s ability to flawlessly mix just about anything together. IDs from Eptic, LYNY, Wink, and Karan grace the mix, as well as a special RL edit of Skrillex and Hamdi‘s newly released track, “Push.” Needless to say, we will dearly miss these spine-chilling October mixes, but couldn’t ask for a better way to close out this era.
