Two central pillars of the EDM scene have teamed up to deliver a momentous new collaboration. Sable Valley boss and innovator RL Grime is joined by iconic electronic band NERO on a brand new single called “Renegade.”
RL Grime’s consistently cinematic production style builds a perfect stage for NERO’s Alana Watson—who recently returned to perform with the band for the first time in 5 years—to take the lead. As the track builds up to a euphoric climax, Watson passes the torch back to RL, who delivers a punchy futuristic drop that reminds us of his past hits like “Because Of U” or “Stay For It.” It’s fully complete with trappy snare trills, soaring synths, and an addicting vocal line.
