There’s very few videos or songs that stand out so intensely they make you watch them over and over. That happened today in our office with “Rascal” by this new anonymous artist RMR. All we know is that he’s a 22-year-old singer but he’ dressed in designer clothes, a face mask, and toting an arsenal of guns.
The song blends hip-hop, r&b, country, pop and more for a very minimal sounding track complete with a video that couldn’t be more polarizing. It features RMR and his crew take all the classic tropes of a trap music video and pair it with the track, creating a wildly juxtaposed piece of art.

We have a feeling we will be seeing more RMR, and will keep you posted on what we find out.
